Issuance of National Shell Boiler Standard Drafted by Taihu Boiler together with Others

        The latest version of the national standard GB/T16508-2022 Shell Boiler was issued on Mar 2022 replacing GB/T16508-2013. GB/T16508 is intended to provide regulations for boiler design, manufacture, inspection, acceptance and installation, and this is the 2^nd amendment. We participated in the amendment playing a major role. Our chief engineer Gu Liping completed as the chief drafter all amendment of chapter 7 Installation, which clearly specifies requirements for shell boiler installation, commissioning, acceptance, etc, and drafted with others chapter 1 General, chapter 2 Material, chapter 4 Manufacture, Inspection & Acceptance, and chapter 5 Boiler Mountings as well. The latest version is to be put into practice as of Oct 1 2022.
